From the moment Steve provided us with a very comprehensive and realistic quote, he gained our trust that he was genuinely interested in the project. Steve has excellent work ethic Steve made interesting and useful suggestions and gave valuable insight and options about how to improve the design or finish Steve brought in the necessary and relevant contractors to complete specialist roles. All worked to a high standard. Steve is a qualified electrician and provided the agility we needed to complete the job. Communication is key and Steve was always available to answer questions or update us on progress, issues, or decisions that needed to be made. He was not afraid of hard conversations (e.g. asbestos).

We couldn't recommend Steve and the team at Cortis Construction enough. From the initial tender process the detailed plans and approach were meticulous, through to the whole build process and invoicing, Cortis team have been highly professional, which seems to be a rarity from many independent builders. Whilst Cortis provide their own architectural services, we appointed our own architect and they were able to enact the design and work well with our architect.
